Nach zwei Tagen im Wald und doch am Meer geht es weiter Richtung Süden. Die Strassen werden voller, aber sind trotzdem noch ziemlich leer. Der Weg führt jetzt ein wenig ins Landesinnere. Die Landschaft ändert sich von sehr waldig und hügelig zu weniger waldig mit Feldern und eher flach.

After two days in the forest and also by the sea, we continue to the south. The streets are getting busier, but still pretty empty. The way leads to the hinterlands. The landscape changes from very woody and hilly to less woody with fields and rather flat.

Wie schon berichtet ist genau nebenan ein Naturreservat welches zur Gegend hohe Küste gehört. Hier ist das grösste Geröllfeld der Hohen Küste mit einer Kontinuität der Landhebung von 4000 Jahren bis hin zur Gegenwart und es geht auch weiter. Der Weg über das Geröllfeld und durch die Wälder ist eine spannende Angelegenheit, da man einfach den blauen Punkten folgen muss. Diese geben meist keinen Weg vor, sondern zeigen eine Richtung. Selbstverständlich habe ich ein paar Fotos.

As already reported right next door is a nature reserve which belongs to the area High Coast. Here, is the largest field of shingle in the High Coast, showing a continuity of shingle formation of over 4000 years up to the present. The path over the shingle field and through the woods is an exciting affair, as you simply have to follow the blue dots. These usually give no way but show a direction. Of course I have a couple of photos.

Nach einer Nacht geht es direkt weiter. Das angepeilte Ziel ist Norrfällsviken, ein Campingplatz im Wald aber auch direkt am Meer.

Der Weg dahin war teilweise schon die bekannte E4. Mit ziemlich vielen Blitzern!! Ab von der E4 Richtung Meer wurde die Strasse ziemlich abenteuerlich. Schön durch Wälder und an Seen vorbei bis zum Ziel, Norrfällsviken.

After one night, it continues directly. The destination is Norrfällsviken, a campsite in the woods but also directly on the sea.

The way there, was partly the well-known E4. With a fair amount of lightning !! From the E4 towards the sea, the road became quite adventurous. Beautiful through forests and past lakes to the finish, Norrfällsviken.

Leider müssen wir uns langsam wieder auf den Weg Richtung Süden machen, es war so schön hier oben, vor allem mit den Nordlichtern.

Auf der buckligen Strasse ging es wieder Richtung E4, sogar ein Rentier hat sich am Strassenrand Blicken lassen. Süss diese Tierchen. Die Strassen waren wie schon auf der Hinfahrt meist leer. Das Ziel ist noch einmal Byske Havsbad. Diesmal sind wir ganz alleine.

Unfortunately, we have to slowly start our way south again, it was so nice up here, especially with the northern lights.

On the bumpy road we went back to E4, even a reindeer comes up at the roadside. Sweet these little animals. The streets were mostly empty, as they were on the way up. Our next stop is once again Byske Havsbad. This time we are all alone.

Und nochmal haben sich die Nordlichter gezeigt. Das kann man sich immer wieder anschauen.

Gestern waren meine beiden Kollegen, Scotty und Tomcat unterwegs. Sie haben eine Radtour zum Aussichtsturm auf dem Hügel Aavasaksanvaara in Finnland gemacht. Die Kuppe liegt 242m über dem Meeresspiegel und der Anstieg war ein wenig anstrengend. Aber es hat sich gelohnt. Auf dem Turm hat man einen Rundumblick auf die offiziellen Nationallandschaften Finnlands.

Yesterday, my two colleagues, Scotty and Tomcat were on the way. They have made a bike ride to the observation tower on the hill Aavasaksanvaara in Finland. The hill rises 242m above sea level and the climb was a bit exhausting. But it was worth it. On the tower you have a panoramic view of the official national landscapes from the summit.

Mein tapferes Zugfahrzeug, ich nenne ihn Vollo, hat einen Ausflug zum Jockfall gemacht und hat dabei den Polarkreis überquert. Der Jockfall ist ein Wasserfall mit 9m Fallhöhe des Flusses Kalixälv. Hier könnte man im Juni und Juli Lachse angeln. Aber aufgepasst, an geraden Tagen ist das Fliegenfischen und an ungeraden das Spinnfischen erlaubt. Die Angelkarte gibt es direkt im Shop am Wasserfall oder ganz modern per QR-Code im Wald.

My brave towing vehicle, I call him Vollo has made a trip to the Jackfall and has thereby passed the Arctic Circle. The Jackfall is a waterfall with 9m fall height of the river Kalixälv. You could fish salmon in June and July. But watch out, on even days fly fishing is allowed and on odd days spin fishing is allowed. The fishing license is available directly in the shop at the waterfall or fully modern per QR-code in the forest .

Letzte Nacht war der Hammer, genau vor mir tauchten die Nordlichter auf. Das war unbeschreiblich. Es sind noch nicht die ganz starken aber es ist trotzdem schon sehr eindrücklich.
