Letzte Station: Bodensee
Last station: Lake Constance

Mein letzter Platz auf dieser Reise ist am Bodensee. Hier wurde schönes Wetter vorhergesagt perfekt um den Urlaub ausklingen zu lassen. Ich stehe am Untersee mit Blick auf die Schweiz.

Man kann hier super Radtouren machen oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (die sind in der Kurtaxe drin) rumfahren, bis nach Konstanz.
Auch Stein am Rhein ist nicht weit weg und auf guten Radwegen mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar.

My last place on this trip is on Lake Constance. Nice weather was predicted,  perfect to end the vacation. I’m standing on the Untersee with a view to Switzerland.

You can go on bike tours here or use the public transportation (which is included in the visitor’s tax) to get to Constance.
Stein am Rhein is also not far away and can be reached by bike on good cycle paths.

Schon letztes Jahr im Frühjahr hat es mich ins Sauerland verschlagen… dieses Mal scheint das Wetter auch mitzuspielen, letztes Jahr war Dauerregen angesagt.
Direkt am Campingplatz ist ein Teil vom Biggesee, dieser Teil ist sehr ruhig und gut geeignet zum stand up paddling oder anderen Paddelaktivitäten… 😜

In der Nähe gibt es jede Menge Aussichtstürme, zum einen der BiggeBlick und zum anderen die Hohe Bracht. Beide Türme sowie die Parkplätze sind kostenlos. Um denn See sind auch jede Menge Radwege, aber 11°C laden nicht so zum Rad fahren ein.

Last year in spring I ended up in the Sauerland … this time the weather seems to be playing along too, last year continuous rain was announced.
A part of the Biggesee is directly at the campsite, this part is very quiet and well suited for stand up paddling or other paddling activities … 😜

There are plenty of observation towers nearby, on the one hand the BiggeBlick and on the other the Hohe Bracht. Both towers and the parking spaces are free. There are plenty of cycle paths around the lake, but 11 ° C is not so ideal for cycling.

Nach der Ostsee kommt nun die Nordsee dran. 😂
Im Gegensatz zur Ostsee bekommt man hier die Gezeiten richtig mit und das Wattenmeer präsentiert sich ca. alle 6h.
Klar muss man hier ins Watt und am besten mit einem der sich auskennt. Das Wattenmeer ist seit 2009 UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe.

Auf einer Tour durch das Watt erfährt man so einiges über die Tiere die dort leben und die die sich davon ernähren. Richtig spannend diese kleinen Tierchen… 🤗

Die Fahrradwege sind super für Ausflüge meiner zwei Bikes, nur war immer in eine Richtung ein fieser Gegenwind 😂 der Wind ist aber super zum Drachen steigen und für die Kiter und Windsurfer ein Traum…

Essen kann man hier ganz viel Fisch yummy… 😋

Mein Plätzchen auf einem von Dauercampern beherrschten Platz ist nicht der Rede wert, lieber die Natur, das Meer und den Wind genießen…

After the Baltic Sea, it’s time for the North Sea. 😂
In contrast to the Baltic Sea, you really get the tides here and the Wadden Sea presents itself approximately every 6 hours.
Of course you have to go to the mudflats here and preferably with someone who knows their way around. The Wadden Sea has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2009.

On a tour through the mudflats you can learn a lot about the animals that live there and that feed on it. Really exciting these little animals … 🤗

The bike paths are great for trips with my two bikes, but there was always a nasty headwind in one direction 😂 the wind is great for flying kites and a dream for the kiters and windsurfers …

You can eat a lot of fish here yummy … 😋

My place on a campsite that is dominated by permanent campers is not worth mentioning, prefer to enjoy nature, the sea and the wind …

Um dem Miniaturwunderland einen Besuch abstatten zu können war mein nächstes Plätzchen in der Nähe von Hamburg… Da ich nun wirklich nicht in der Stadt stehen wollte wurde ein Campingplatz an der Elbe entdeckt, aber dazu später mehr…

Von hier ist man mit dem Auto, bei mir ist es mein tapferes Zugfahrzeug Vollo, in 30min in  Hamburg, auch mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln geht das, falls man eben keinen Vollo hat.

Das Miniaturwunderland hat das ganze mit Corona super umgesetzt und man hat unglaublich viel Platz und kann sich alles sehr genau anschauen… mich gibt es hier auch 😂
Da in der Stadt die Parkgebühren überall eigentlich ähnlich sind wurde der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Miniaturwunderland gewählt, schließlich waren die Tickets sowieso für 8:00Uhr, daher war der Parkplatz sowieso noch leer.

Nach einem ausgiebigen Besuch wurde noch ein wenig die Stadt erkundet, zu Fuß ist man ja schnell an den bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten… 😂

To be able to visit the Miniaturwunderland, my next place was near Hamburg … Since I really didn’t want to stand in the city, a campsite was discovered on the Elbe, but more about that later …

From here you can go by car, for me it’s my brave towing vehicle Vollo, in 30 minutes in Hamburg, you can also use public transport if you don’t have a Vollo.

The Miniaturwunderland has implemented the whole thing super with Corona and you have an incredible amount of space and can look at everything very carefully … I am here too 😂
Since the parking fees are actually similar everywhere in the city, the parking lot right in front of the Miniaturwunderland was chosen, after all, the tickets were for 8:00 a.m. anyway, so the parking lot was still empty.

After an extensive visit, the city was explored a little, you can quickly walk to the famous sights … 😂

Auch hier war es gar nicht so einfach ein Plätzchen zu ergattern, aber ein Platz in Zingst hatte noch etwas sehr schönes, einen Premium Platz.
Hier kann man super Rad fahren und natürlich bei Sonnenschein am Meer rumliegen oder sogar Drachen steigen, wenn der Wind mit macht.

Here, it was not that easy to get a place, too, however one camp site in Zingst still had something very nice, a premium place.
Here you can cycle and of course lie around in the sunshine by the sea or even fly kites when the wind is with you.

Meine zwei Bikes sind hier viel unterwegs, z. B. auf dem Rad-Highway auf dem Deich nach Prerow und wenn man mag gleich noch ein Stück weiter bis zum Leuchtturm…

My two bikes are on the road a lot here, e.g. on the bike highway on the dike to Prerow and if you like a little further to the lighthouse …

Auf der anderen Seite vom Bodden ist Barth, eine süße Stadt von der aus man mit Booten nach Hiddensee oder auch einfach nach Zingst fahren kann.

On the other side of the Bodden is Barth, a cute town from which you can take a boat to Hiddensee or simply to Zingst.

Und weiter geht es Richtung Norden. Nächster Stopp, Krakow am See… im September in Deutschlands Norden ein Plätzchen für mich zu finden ist gar nicht so einfach…😳

Krakow am See ist ein kleinerer Ort direkt am Krakower See. Der Ort hat einen Aussichtsturm auf dem Jörnberg mit 27,7m. Der Aufstieg von 126 Stufen lohnt sich, da hier alles flach ist, kann man richtig weit schauen…

And it goes on to the north. Next stop, Krakow am See … in September it is not that easy to finding a place for me in the north of Germany…😳

Krakow am See is a smaller place right on the lake of Krakow. The place has an observation tower on the Jörnberg with 27.7m. The ascent of 126 steps is worthwhile, since everything is flat here, you can see really far…
